“As a master I have gone to the depths of the ocean of mistakes. Recognizing mistakes for what they are, I am no longer judgmental, but truly love unconditionally.” Self Mastery*the power for change Cards.
Before one can feel compassion in its totality one needs to learn forgiveness and unconditional love for oneself before one can do this for others. So ask yourself, “Do I love me? Do I forgive me?” If you cannot answer yes to these questions, count yourself among most of the human race. If you can, you understand no one is perfect in their behaviors, but are perfect as the beautiful souls we all are.
When you make mistakes, get angry or annoyed, say things which are spiteful or mean, you begin to feel guilty about them. If you truly love yourself within a short period of time the quilt becomes forgiveness for your mistakes or inappropriate behavior. Then apologizing for these indiscretions and correcting them takes no effort at all because they are heart-felt from the depths of your soul. When you have experienced this you learn to become compassionate to self.
You begin to understand this earth walk is all about finding the love within so that you may share it with others. You also begin to understand the precious gift we call life and the never ending abundance which is there for all of us. So stop feeling guilty about wanting something or the company of someone. Treat yourself to what you desire… and know you are deserving of it.
And then that inner voice begins again, “But, But am I being overindulgent? Am I being fair?” and you feel guilty all over again.
Be loving to yourself and know when you have had your fill of whatever it is you will no longer want it. Or the companionship you desired, was also desired by the other person.Trust that when your desires are based in the thought of your highest good and for any other individuals as well, there should be only love within your heart and not guilt.
A personal example of this, was when I was 9 or 10 years old, my father worked for a bakery, where he was allowed to take home any day old baking. One fine afternoon I ate a whole blueberry pie and half of a cherry pie. Because of this overindulgence and the resulting tummy ache, it took years before I would consider even having a small piece of either. I had fulfilled my desire to the point of not needing to experience even the taste of these two items for a very long time.
Examples of something more material is the need for material things like clothes, gems and jewelry, a bigger house, or a new car. Again when you have achieved enough of any given item, your needs or desires for them diminish.
Stop feeing guilty – Treat yourself…you deserve it. Know you were meant to feel abundance in all parts of your being.
Now you say, but how can I afford the things I desire. The secret is, Do what you Love and riches will follow. And then you ask, “How do I know what I love?” Then I suggest you ask yourself this, “What interests you? What gives you a sense of play?” These are the things which will bring you all the riches you desire. And when you have achieved them without guilt and really love and enjoy them you are a step closer to being accepting and loving of who you are. You are moving closer to being truly compassionate of self.
It is really interesting when you have accomplished and fulfilled your own desires; you automatically begin to become compassionate to the entire world around you.
May only good spirits guide you during this earth walk called life.
